Original chrome bumper car with overdrive. Finished in British Racing Green with Black Leather interior piped in Green. A truly outstanding MGB that we first purchased 5 years ago and sold to a local enthusiast who has really looked after the car whilst in his ownership, traded back to us against a beautiful MGA. I thought 5 years ago that I should keep this car and the same thoughts are with me today. It is by far the best MGB that I have seen or owned. Meticulously restored back in the early 2000s by a local MG specialist as 1 of 3 cars promised to loyal customers before his retirement. We believe that the car has covered less than 1,000 miles since the completion of this work. A complete photographic restoration carried out on the original shell with virtually every panel, nut, bolt, and washer replaced. The underside of the car is as clean as the top and the engine compartment is fabulous, please look at the photos although they don t do it justice. The restoration still looks fresh, paint is almost unblemished, the chrome on the car is outstanding including the wire wheels, the interior is superb, crackle finish on the dash which is so hard to re do correctly, is as it came from the factory. The car has been fitted with electric front windows which are very discretely done. The rear shock absorbers have been converted to telescopic adjustable, electronic ignition and a brand new, yet to be fitted full tonneau cover is with the car. We have extensive receipts and photographs of the car during its restoration process. Virtually unused by the last owner apart from a couple of local shows in which the car invariably paced first.
