1966, the World Cup, The Swinging 60s, The Beatles, Mini Skirts etc and the year our lovely little Herald convertible first saw the light of day in Coventry. Sold new to Mrs Alma Hopton in Leeds in February, Mrs Hopton kept the little car until September 1967 when it then passed on to Mr Askew in Bradford. The car was sold to Mr Yardy in Warwickshire in August 1969, he kept the car 25 years until it then passed to Mr Williams in 1994 who also kept the car for 25 years and finally in 2019 it was purchased by Triumph enthusiast Mrs O Meara, who sadly only let the car go due to losing her storage and she couldn'€™t bear to see the little thing sit outside in the weather.
Finished in the lovely period colour of Wedgewood Blue with contrasting Navy Blue interior and Black everflex convertible top. Still wearing its original registration number.
We have the original Green Logbook along with the subsequent V5 Registration document and the current V5. Along with this are quite a number of service receipts and MoT'€™s going back to the early 70s.
The little car runs superb with lovely shut lines, paint is very nice, interior, soft top etc all in excellent order.
Although not required the car will come with a fresh 12 month MoT
