1964 Daimler Dart SP250 EAR 484B' is one of the desirable C specification models which is understood to have covered 101,000 miles. It was the subject of an earlier restoration and benefited from an engine overhaul in 2005. Also benefitting from having the most needed rack and pinion steering conversion. Stacks of history with the car with old MoT's going back to 1969. From what we can determine its first owner was a Mr Harry Hart a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society who studied life support systems from 1957 and was a worldwide cinematographer since 1946 with two Emmy Awards, he was instrumental in studying climate change and how it affects global warming way back in the 80s and 90s way before our modern eco warriors were publishing it. He kept the car until 2011 when it the passed into the hands of Mr McHugh who had the Dart until it was purchased by Mr K Dobbins in 2014. Mr Dobbins kept and cherished the car until he sadly passed away in 2019.
The car is finished in Universum Blue Metallic with cream leather interior piped in blue, the soft top is dark blue vinyl. Fitted with new chrome wire wheels, electronic ignition, alternator. Compete with the original handbook, workshop manual, numerous amounts of Daimler literature, history file, and quite a few spare parts.
There is a hardtop with the car that is complete but does need some restoration work.
I know it's not called a super V8, I am waiting for the people at AA to include the correct model name in the default list of cars available.
