1967 Daimler V8 250 Saloon, finished in Golden Sand Metallic with Red leather trim. I owner from 1983, 2 previous to that. Excellent condition throughout, still retaining its original leather interior that is in very good order with no rips, tears or cracks just a bit of age-related colour fading. The wood and headlining are also we believe to be original and are also in good order. Panel gaps and bodywork are excellent on the car, chrome wire wheels set off the lovely exterior of the car. The Daimler running in windscreen sticker is still in place from when the car was new, the original Daimler operating manual is also with the car.
Some modifications have been carried out on the car which I believe enhance its drivability and the reliability of the car, these include electronic ignition, Kenlow electric fan, a ZF 4HP 22 4 speed automatic gearbox that really transforms the performance of the car and probably most importantly rack and pinion power steering.
We have some records/receipts with the car from the last owner, the most recent one was to recommission the car after long term storage due to illness. The work was carried out by a local well renowned Jaguar independent, this included a new fuel tank, fuel pump, battery, a full service and tune up as well as any work necessary for a new MoT test which now is valid until December 2020 with no advisories.
In short, a very nice mostly original car that is a joy and pleasure and easy to drive.
